I’m Miss Beth, and Welcome to Big City Readers. 

Today I had a lot of Obstacles to overcome. 

I had cereal, but no milk.  Millie ate my shoe!

and it took forever to get to Big City Readers!

Have you’ve ever wanted something so badly, but it seemed like you couldn’t get it?

Have you ever had a lot of Obstacles to overcome? 

What’s an obstacle? 

It’s something that stops you from getting what you want or where you want to be. 

When I have to overcome obstacles, I get really frustrated, and when I get frustrated, there’s one thing to help me calm down, READ! 

So I found a book for us today about a friend that wants something so badly. 

But he has to overcome a LOT of obstacles to get what he wants.

Wow, that raccoon was determined! 

That’s when you don’t stop trying no matter what. He had a lot of obstacles to overcome to get that pizza, but he never gave up.  No matter what.  Actually, that’s how I kinda feel about pizza too.  If I want it, I’d never give up till I got it!  Which get’s me to thinking.  I love EATING pizza, but I’ve never MADE pizza. I’ll give my friend Derrick a call and See if he could give us a lesson on Pizza making!
